Clinical Significance

This FISH panel is designed to detect the recurrent proximal gains and distal losses of chromosome 11q which define MYC-negative high grade B-cell lymphoma with 11q aberration in WHO-HAEM5 and in the ICC-2022 (provisional).

Specimen Requirements

H&E slide (required) plus paraffin block.
Cut Slides: H&E slide (required) plus 3 unstained slides cut at 4-5 microns.
Note for Tech Only clients: Please circle H&E slide.

Storage and Transportation

Refrigerate specimen. Do not freeze. Use cold pack for transport, making sure cold pack is not in direct contact with specimen. NYS clients please provide date and time of collection.
