Acceptable Specimens:
Voided urine, catheterized urine, bladder washings, stoma collections, ureteral brushings or washings, renal pelvic brushings or washings.
All Specimen Types:
33–60 mL specimen mixed 2:1 with supplied PreservCyt within 30 minutes of collection for total volume 50 mL.
Storage and Transportation
Please keep specimen refrigerated until shipment. Use cold pack for transport, making sure cold pack is not in direct contact with specimen. NYS clients please provide date and time of Collection.
