Molecular Genetics

Molecular genetic testing is the primary tool to enable personalized medicine. NeoGenomics is committed to bringing our clients a full complement of clinically relevant diagnostic, predictive, and prognostic tests. In Spring 2012, we initiated a drive to create one of the most comprehensive molecular test menus available in the industry before the end of the year. We are accomplishing this in three main ways:

• Expansion of the menu, with 35 new tests scheduled for development this year, including sensitive translocation assays, DNA and RNA sequencing tests for hematologic disease and solid tumors, and reflex panels.
• Enhancement of existing tests and reports for more comprehensive mutation detection, more flexible specimen options, and addition of quantitative data where relevant.
• Investment in new test platforms and equipment for higher throughput and lower costs per test.
