Under the direct supervision of licensed personnel, the Histology Technologist will precisely and accurately perform a variety of routine and specialized histology techniques and procedures. This position requires the production of the highest quality of embedding, microtomy, tissue grossing, tissue processing, and H&E staining, special staining and equipment maintenance.
FL clinical laboratory license as a Histology Technologist (or Histology Technician, eligible for upgrade within 3 months of employment), previous experience with automated IHC technical and QC protocols, and Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a life science field is preferred.
