MyPRS™ for Advanced Risk Stratification in Multiple Myeloma

The Myeloma Prognostic Risk Signature (MyPRS™) test is a gene expression profile performed on bone marrow from newly-diagnosed or relapsed multiple myeloma patients to help identify patients at high risk for short remission and poorer overall survival. This test captures the most significant genetic predictors of outcome by measuring the activity of 70 genes and converting it to an actionable risk score, which is delivered in 7-10 days on an easy-to-read report.

MyPRS™ provides genome-wide assessment of abnormalities. It expands on classic stratification by adding supporting evidence, and by identifying patients who otherwise may face over- or under-treatment of their disease.

Further, the MyPRS™ test:

  • Personalizes therapy decision-making at the molecular level
  • Complements cytogenetics, FISH, and flow cytometry in evaluation of a highly heterogeneous disorder
  • Is based on testing in over 1000 patients and 10 years of development
  • High risk result is an independent predictor of outcome in multivariate analysis, surpassing contributions of standard prognostic factors

Testing is performed through our partnership with Signal Genetics at their CLIA laboratory in Little Rock, AR.
