Performs routine culture, harvest and processing of bone marrow, peripheral blood and tissue biopsies. Performs microscopic analysis of metaphase spreads and image analysis (capture and cutting) of cells. Also prepares solutions and reagents, maintains laboratory records and performs general laboratory maintenance.
Bachelor's degree in the chemical, physical or biological sciences. NCA certification in cytogenetics required.
